The Bench Before
The wood had rotted out on this bench so I told Julie I would rebuild it.

The Finnished Bench

The Wood Parts
I replaced the wood with Ipe. I got a great deal on it. The finnish is Spar Varnish.

The Metal Ends
First I painted the ends flat brown. Then I spray painted a metalic pewter over the brown letting the brown show thru.
