I started with a craftsman 10  Radial Arm Saw that I got from my Father In-law. I could do 90 degree angles all day but if I moved the saw it would take me an hour to align it.

(This Picture is the same make and model but is in better condition. Mine was in much worse shape.)
I replaced the Radial Arm Saw with a Ridgid MS1290LZ. This is a 12  sliding compound miter saw with a laser line. I really love this saw but the laser line is not accurate since it doesn’t line up exactly with the edge of the blade. Also I have a tendency to cut with the piece I want on the opposite side of the blade. The accuracy of this saw is great, I check the alignment before starting any job and it has yet to move. It was aligned perfectly right out of the box.
I built the cabinet from scrap 2x4s and plywood. The only thing I bought for this cabinet where the castors and the drawer slides. I was building the cabinet to fit an old drawer that I had. I messed up and the drawer did not fit after I had built the cabinet. I had to build the drawers as well. The tray along the front works great for holding pencils and other stuff. The small toolbox holds misc stuff.
