Porter-Cable Deluxe Plate Joiner Kit (Model 557)
I bought this when I was building an Armour for my sister-in-law. The way I built it I would have to drill a lot of holes for dowels. I decided a plate joiner would work just as good as dowels and go much faster. My wife actually agreed. I ran really fast to the store before she could change her mind. It is a Porter Cable Model 557. It can do all sizes of biscuits but I only use the largest and smallest sizes. The blade changes easily and it has a nice case.
